Growth Mindset

I personally have not heard of Carol Dweck before now. From what I learned from the videos, a growth mindset is the belief that one can always improve and learn more, rather than having a set intelligence or a fixed mindset. I definitely agree with the concept of a growth mindset, I am always learning more and being challenge with new concepts in class. Going into some of these classes I am initially worried that the concepts will be too advance for me to grasp and do well, but I later learn that as long as I pay attention and ask questions when I need to, it is definitely possible to do well. Every semester I have the goal to listen in every class and be fully engaged, because I am very easily distracted and my mind starts to wonder. Hopefully learning about the growth mindset and adopting the concept of it will help me to do this and have a successful summer.
